Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Radiation Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 40 hours per week available
• 13-week assignment accepted
• No call, float, or weekend requirements
• Must have minimum 2 years of experience
• Required certifications: ARRT T and BLS
• Must have ARIA and True Beam experience (required)
• Adult outpatient work setting treating patients from benign disease to cancer diagnosis
• Provide external beam therapy treatments
• Work with Varis-Vision/ARIA record and verify systems
• Operate True Beam treatment units and Vision RT equipment
• Handle patient ratio of 1:1 with average of 25 visits per day
• Perform special procedures including SRS stereotactic radiosurgery and SBRT stereotactic body radiation therapy
• 99% of patients are outpatients with 1% inpatients
• Use Epic and Aria unit systems
• Royal blue scrubs required (not provided)
• No orientation needed - start directly in clinic
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Must complete lab testing within 48 hours after signing
• Non-billable modules required (expect 2-10 hours)
