Cyber Security Support Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Cyber Security Support Engineer for an Information technology government-contractor in Dayton, OH . Responsibilities for the Cyber Security Support Engineer: Lead the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of the cybersecurity infrastructure. Incorporate DOD-directed vulnerability solutions into the enclave systems and network designs, such as IAVA requirements. Implement strategies such as blocking/filtering, IDS/IPS, anti-virus, logical traffic separation, content analysis, and DISA compliance. Work with cybersecurity and project teams to meet engineering requirements. Ensure secure backups with a documented plan and proper storage. Qualifications for the Cyber Security Support Engineer: 5+ years of Linux experience. 3+ years experience working with IDS, IPS, and Host Based Security Solutions. Experience with tools such as Kali, Burpsuite Professional, Python, and Bash. Security+ Certification and Certified Ethical Hacker required. BA/S in Computer Science or other related field. Compensation/Benefits for the Cyber Security Support Engineer: Salary Range: $170,000 - $190,000 **depending on experience** .
