About the Position

Our client is seeking experienced Class A Day Drivers to support local operations in Scarborough, Maine. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $36.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime routes
Hours: 40 hours per week
Route distance: 50–100 miles

Job Details

Route type: Local day routes
Stops: Approximately 15–20 stops per route
Freight: Freight of all kinds
Trailer operation: Doubles
Handling: Heavy touch
Work setting: On-site

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate equipment on assigned routes.
Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
Meet the physical demands of the role, including heavy-touch freight handling.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
X endorsement and doubles/triples endorsement required.
Electronic logging device experience required.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
