Bilingual  Staffing Coordinator: Woodstock,  Illinois

Hughes Recruiting & Consulting is seeking an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Bilingual Staffing Coordinator to join our Woodstock, Illinois office. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for applicants, employees, clients, and visitors while supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and staffing operations. The ideal candidate is fluent in both English and Spanish, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about helping people find meaningful employment opportunities.

Responsibilities of the  Staffing Coordinator:

• Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls while providing exceptional customer service
• Greet and assist office visitors, applicants, employees, and clients
• Conduct applicant intake, initiate the application process, and coordinate candidate flow through interviews and onboarding
• Perform criminal background checks and maintain accurate applicants and employee records
• Support recruiting efforts through job boards, referrals, job fairs, and community outreach
• Maintain knowledge of open job opportunities and match qualified candidates to available positions
• Coordinate pre-employment and post-offer onboarding activities, including hiring documentation, orientation, and drug testing
• Assist with entering, updating, and ending employee placements in the staffing system
• Communicate attendance issues, employee concerns, and call-offs to clients and internal staff
• Prepare employee disciplinary documentation and separation notices when necessary
• Administer skills assessments and maintain employee documentation and filing systems
• Translate and communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking applicants and employees
• Maintain a professional, organized office environment and assist with general administrative duties

Staffing  Coordinator   Qualification s :

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Previous customer service, administrative, recruiting, staffing, or human resources experience preferred
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to build relationships with applicants, employees, clients, and coworkers
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, HR, or related fields is a plus

Pay for  Staffing Coordinator : $43,680-$47,840/year

• General work hours are 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
