Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Staff Project Manager IIECS Limited is offering a unique opportunity for a talented Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Staff Project Manager II to join our Orlando field services team and advance in a dynamic work environment. The Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Staff Project Manager II supports construction materials testing projects through technical analysis, reporting, and project coordination activities with increasing independence. This role contributes to project execution across the lifecycle, including budgeting, documentation, and client interaction. The CMT Staff Project Manager II continues to develop technical, consulting, and project management skills while maintaining a positive customer service attitude and demonstrating ECS Core Values.ResponsibilitiesSupports management of construction materials testing projects, including daily report review and assisting with issue resolutionManages project budgets, prepares invoices, pay applications, and supports collection effortsPrepares proposals and change orders for CMT projectsPerforms or supports laboratory testing, soil classification, and materials evaluationSupports and performs testing of soils, foundations, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, masonry, structural steel, fireproofing, and asphaltReviews field reports and ensures accuracy and timeliness of documentationAssists with training and coordination of field staff on assigned projectsPerforms project-related tasks across the lifecycle, including proposal, execution, and closeout activitiesCommunicates with project teams, contractors, and clientsSupports delivery of low-complexity projects with increasing independencePerforms other technical and project coordination tasks as assignedCareer DevelopmentSupport you in enhancing your professional skills to advance and grow with us.Encourage participation and advancement in internal and external training programs and certification opportunities.QualificationsRequired Qualifications1 year of related experienceBachelor of Science in any of the multi-disciplined Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Materials Science Engineering, Architectural Engineering, and GeologyA professional license is not required in this position, but it is necessary to progress in your careerIf driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is requiredStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-orientedBasic knowledge of CMT principles and applicationsBasic knowledge of ASTM standards and testing proceduresAbility to work effectively with teams, clients, and supervisorsDeveloping project management and organizational skillsBasic business development and client relationship skillsLimited but growing decision-making abilityMilitary Qualifications:The following US Military ranks will qualify for this position IF they also meet the education and licenses requirements from the above section titled "Required Qualifications":E-5About UsECS Group of Companies (ECS) was founded in 1988 with the goal to raise the standards of professional engineering consulting.
