Job Description:

Seeking a Registered Nurse for the NICU responsible for providing specialized care for newborns, including monitoring and administering medications, and ensuring a safe environment for patients. Experience with a diverse patient population requiring frequent language interpretation is required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patient types including feed/growers, ESC, IV ABX, CPS holds, and Bili babies.
• Assist with central lines (UAC, PICC, UVC) and vent care.
• Perform APGAR scoring and stabilize newborns during delivery.
• Participate in floating to Labor and Delivery for deliveries, baby catching/receiving, or newborn care.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the NICU.
• Current BLS and NRP certifications; STABLE certification preferred.
• Proficiency in IV skills and familiarity with Bubble CPAP and High flow nasal cannula.
• Experience with patient types such as feed/growers and higher acuity babies for stabilization and transfer.
• Must have EPIC EMR experience.
• Teal scrubs provided; no call required (voluntary only).
