Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care unit within a busy hospital setting. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care, supporting clinical excellence, and fostering a collaborative care environment to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, effective nursing care aligned with state regulations, facility policies, and professional standards.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans with input from patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Administer medications, fluids, and respiratory treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety.
• Recognize patient symptoms, monitor changes, and respond promptly to evolving clinical conditions.
• Maintain detailed, accurate documentation of patient status, interventions, and progress.
• Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and post-discharge care instructions.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota or qualify for reciprocity.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership abilities.
• Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Show commitment to patient-centered care, continuous learning, and quality improvement.
• Prior acute care or hospital nursing experience is preferred but not mandatory.
