As a Cloud Administrator & IaC Developer you’ll design resilient Azure and AWS infrastructure, improve deployment automation, and apply DevSecOps best practices to ensure teams can deliver high‑quality solutions with speed and confidence. This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. Responsibilities Cloud Administration & Operations Manage and support Azure services such as App Service, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Virtual Networks, Key Vault, and EntraID. Configure and administer AWS environments and services within modern cloud ecosystems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to configuration, deployment, performance, network communication, and system availability. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Design, build, and maintain IaC solutions using Terraform, OpenTofu, or similar tools. Ensure IaC modules follow best practices for reusability, security, compliance, and maintainability. Support environment provisioning, configuration standardization, and automation of infrastructure lifecycles. Monitoring, Observability & Reliability Implement and manage monitoring/observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and comparable AWS tools. Develop alerting, dashboards, and health checks to ensure system reliability and timely incident response. DevSecOps & CI/CD Support Support build and deployment automation processes and CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with development and security teams. Apply best practices for least privilege, zero trust, redundancy, vulnerability remediation, and credential management. Assist teams with log interpretation, change management, and deployment troubleshooting. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with developers, testers, product owners, cloud SMEs, and security teams to execute cross‑functional objectives. Translate complex technical concepts into clear, audience‑appropriate explanations. Contribute to documentation, architecture reviews, and continuous improvement efforts. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a DevSecOps administrator, system administrator, cloud engineer, or similar role. Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, OpenTofu, etc.). Minimum 3 years of experience with AWS cloud services. Two or more years of hands‑on Azure experience, specifically with App Service, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Virtual Networks, Key Vault, and Entra. Experience with monitoring and observability tools including Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics. Strong understanding of fundamental networking and database concepts. Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, version control, build automation, and deployment automation. Any of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Certified CloudOps Engineer – Associate, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, Terraform Authoring and Operations Professional. Professional Skills Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex systems. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and tailor communication to technical and non‑technical audiences. Desired Qualifications (Non‑essential) Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. Compensation Compensation range: $80,600.00 – $198,400.00.
