First Physicians Group of Sarasota, part of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, is looking for Practice Supervisor(s) and Practice Manager(s) to oversee daily business operations at our primary and specialty care offices in Sarasota and Venice. Practice Supervisor Responsibilities Oversee front‑and back‑office teams Manage financial operations and provider expenses Handle supply ordering Coordinate all related administrative functions Practice Manager Responsibilities Supervise and lead practice operations across all functional areas Provide strategic direction for finance, HR, scheduling, and compliance Ensure high quality of patient care and staff engagement Benefits Opportunity for career growth and advancement within First Physicians Group and Sarasota Memorial Health Care System Annual leadership bonus incentive program Practice Supervisor Requirements Minimum of two (2) years of relevant healthcare experience; previous supervisory experience preferred Associate degree in business administration or equivalent; high‑school diploma with relevant experience will be considered on a year‑for‑year basis Practice Manager (I, II & III) Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare, or related field; work experience can substitute on a year‑for‑year basis Minimum of three (3) years of medical practice management experience in a group of physicians with full operational responsibilities including finance Strong leadership, teamwork, and site/cost‑center management skills Effective communication skills at all levels Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities Knowledge of third‑party payers Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, practice‑management software, EMR, and Outlook Preferred: American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE) certification Additional Information FPG offices operate Monday through Friday, with opening and closing times varying by location and physician schedules.
