The Role

We are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Lead to oversee daily warehouse logistics, supervising staff and managing inventory accuracy. You will coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments and fulfillment operations to ensure safe, accurate, and on-time deliveries. This role combines hands-on ownership of all company logistics execution with strategic leadership to scale our supply systems, team, and culture.

Responsibilities

• Shipping/Receiving: Manage daily inbound receipts, storage workflows, and outbound shipments to prevent bottlenecks. Ensure accurate and on-time delivery of finished goods to meet and exceed customers' expectations.
• Inventory Control: Monitor stock accuracy, SKU tracking, and physical counts, reconciling discrepancies with purchasing and inventory teams. Familiarity with low mix/high volume in production and high mix/low volume in rapid prototyping.
• Launch a Smart Warehouse: Direct the rollout and iterative enhancement of tech-driven warehouse systems, utilizing barcode scanning, digital location mapping, and real-time NetSuite inventory tracking.
• Documentation & Compliance: Verify bills of lading (BOLs), packing lists, and manifests, ensuring adherence to OSHA safety and regulatory shipping requirements.
• Carrier/Freight Coordination: Liaise with freight and delivery services (LTL, FTL, parcel) to schedule pickups, route orders, and manage freight claims.
• Packaging/Logistics: Boxing, crating, and packaging of finished goods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in supply chain or business is preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of proven hands-on experience in warehouse management, logistics, or manufacturing with strong leadership, complex problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP software, and Microsoft Excel.
• Oversee and maintain a high-mix electronic components inventory with full traceability, including the administration and operation of automated storage and dispensing systems.
• Background in managing aerospace and/or defense material records, ensuring strict adherence to AS9100 documentation and traceability standards is highly valued.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. when stepping in to assist floor operations.

Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this role is $75,000-$100,000 per year, plus equity. This range reflects our good-faith estimate for this position at the time of posting. The final base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the candidate's qualifications, relevant experience, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base salary, total compensation includes an equity grant and our full benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision), HSA's and 401K program.
