Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Ohio Intervention Specialist license (required)
• Experience or strong interest in working with students in any of the following settings: elementary, middle, or high school
• Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement best practices in special education
• Strong collaboration skills with educators, administrators, and families
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability to manage different learning needs and classroom dynamics

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and support tailored to students’ unique needs, ensuring compliance with IEP goals
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed
• Collaborate with other educators to develop strategies and interventions
• Maintain documentation and records for student performance, IEPs, meetings, and reports
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and empowered
• Engage with families and support networks to maximize students’ academic, social, and emotional growth
