Cardiac Cath Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Cath Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in the specialty and must possess the necessary certifications and educational background.

Schedule

This position requires availability for a work schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac catheterization.
  
• Required certifications: BLS, AART or RCIS.
  
• Education: Associate Degree in Health Science or completion of an accredited Technology program (CVT/Radiology).
  
• Experience in interventional and diagnostic procedures within the specialty.
  
• Must have direct Cath Lab experience.
  

Role Responsibilities

The Cardiac Cath Technician will be responsible for overseeing all procedures related to cardiac catheterization, including:

• Left Heart Catheterization
  
• High Risk Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
  
• Right Heart Catheterization
  
• Pacemaker placements
  
• Peripheral Procedures
  
• Structural Heart interventions
  
• EMCO and EKOS procedures
  

Holiday Expectations

Candidates must be willing to work on two major holidays among the following: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Additionally, one minor holiday is required from: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.

This position is available in the regional area, with specific locations to be discussed during the interview process.
