Bartender
The Saucy Shrimp
Description:
The bar server is responsible for ensuring all guests are served in the bar area and maintain bar area cleanliness. Additionally, you will serve and explain all drinks (beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages) to guests.
Major Responsibilities:
• Ability to sell alcohol, drinks and food items
• Able to use a Point of Sale to process customers' orders
• Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Interact with guests as they leave to ensure a positive dine in experience
• Process credit card transactions
• Maintain side work
• Able to clear, clean, and reset a table
• Maintain personal hygiene
• Report to on call shifts as directed
• Must be able to serve alcohol
• Must know how to serve draft beer
• Place dine in and walk in to go orders
• Other duties as directed Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and carry throughout the restaurant. A bar server will be standing the entire shift (up to 8 hours). Additional Info:
Typical Work Week: 10-15 hours (weekend night availability is required)
