Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ICU registered nurse to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The role involves managing critical patient situations, performing bedside procedures, and adhering to strict safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients to ensure optimal care and safety.
• Perform bedside procedures such as Trach, G-Tube placement, Endoscopy, and Bronchoscopy.
• Read and interpret complex medical strips, including ECGs and dysrhythmias.
• Float within hospital units or nearby facilities as needed, supporting various specialties based on census and skill set.
• Complete required orientation modules and maintain compliance with all training standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license or valid compact license in any state.
• Demonstrate at least 1.5 years of experience in a large hospital, preferably level 1 or level 2 trauma center.
• Be proficient in Epic electronic charting systems.
• Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment prior to assignment.
• Be able to read and interpret cardiac strips, including Trachs, G-Tubes, and arterial lines.
• Travel experience preferred, with compliance to tier 1 travel standards.
