VFR Pilot

Job Summary PHI Air Medical (operating under CAMTS guidelines) is seeking a skilled helicopter pilot for 24‑hour day/night rotations. Successful applicants may transition to aircraft with a minimum one‑year service requirement or, if utilizing a relocation package, a minimum two‑year service commitment. Relocation and off‑duty housing are provided. Responsibilities Perform line pilot duties in accordance with GOM. Support the Safety Management System, Destination Zero, and other company safety campaigns. Assist in the loading and unloading of patients and equipment. Participate in community outreach programs and adhere to PHI Air Medical policies. Work with both internal and external customers to provide safe, efficient, courteous, and reliable service. Qualifications Commercial and Instrument helicopter ratings. First Class Medical certificate. CAMTS requirement: 2,000 total flight hours, 1,500 helicopter hours, 1,000 PIC helicopter hours, 500 turbine helicopter hours. 100 hours unaided night operations or 50 hours unaided and 100 hours NVG night operations. Weight restriction policy: 235 lbs or less. Strong communication and internal/external customer service skills. Annual flu vaccine not required; must pass pre‑placement physical exam including a functional capacity test (lift 100 pounds) and background check. Demonstrated customer service skills, excellent verbal and written communication. Compensation and Benefits Competitive pay, shift bonuses, shift incentives, annual safety bonus, annual employee bonus, sign‑on bonus up to $50,000, location bonus up to 12.5%, and off‑duty housing.
