Academic Nephrologist – Northwell Health, Great Neck, NY
Northwell Health’s Division of Nephrology seeks a BC/BE nephrologist to join its academic faculty at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in Great Neck, NY.
In this clinician educator position, you will deliver clinical care, conduct teaching responsibilities, and have optional research opportunities within a program known for innovation and patient‑centered care.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver inpatient and outpatient nephrology care across the North Shore and Long Island Jewish campuses.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in nephrology.
- Engage in optional research projects in areas such as kidney transplantation, dialysis, anemia, hyperkalemia, outcomes research, COVID‑related AKI, onconephrology, and glomerular diseases.
Qualifications:
- Completion of U.S. internal medicine residency and general nephrology fellowship.
- BC/BE status in nephrology.
- Highest level of performance and scientific potential.
- Visa support available.
Compensation: Full‑time clinical base compensation ranges from $125K to $750K, determined by specialty, experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity.
