- Must perform duties as assigned by the Principal or Head Custodian.
- Must undertake any training relevant to your role.

- Punctual and reliable
- Ability to prioritize work and work with minimum supervision.
- Must be flexible to the changing demands of the post.
- Ability to work both alone and with a team to achieve specified standards.
- Proven work experience as a cleaner
- Knowledge of cleaning methods, cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to respect and value the different experiences, ideas and backgrounds others can bring to work and teams.
- Clean bathroom basins and sinks
- Refill toilet and paper towel dispensers
- Replenish liquid soap in soap dispensers.
- Wipe and wash down bathroom tiles using appropriate cleaners and disinfectants.
- Clean & polish mirrors and wipe and residual paintwork
- Empty trash bins and place them in recycle receptacles.
- Scrub and mop floors using cleaner.
- Dust and mop hard flooring using appropriate cleaning devices (brooms, mop, etc)
- Cleans and dust furniture such as desks, chairs, etc
- Wipe down grubby hand marks and sanitize floors.
- Empty trash bins and clean/wash bins on a regular basis
- Remove marks from doors and windows.
- Clean telephones and extension phones
