About the Role

We are seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee Global Trade Support Operations for a growing financial services organization. This individual will lead a team supporting trading activities across Equities, Fixed Income, and Options, with a particular emphasis on equity and options operations, post-trade processing, and client service.

The ideal candidate will bring strong options processing knowledge, proven people management experience, and the ability to lead complex operational workflows across onshore and offshore teams. This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader to drive operational excellence, strengthen risk controls, and build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead global trade support operations across Equities, Fixed Income, and Options markets.
• Oversee daily operational workflows and options expiration processing, including monthly Saturday expiration coverage.
• Manage, mentor, and develop an experienced team of operations professionals while maintaining oversight of offshore resources.
• Monitor operational exceptions, resolve escalated issues, and ensure timely and accurate processing.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular service reviews, business operating reviews, and proactive issue resolution.
• Ensure operational controls, risk management practices, regulatory requirements, and supervisory procedures are consistently followed.
• Analyze key performance indicators, operational trends, and staffing models to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Drive process enhancements, workflow optimization, and technology-enabled efficiencies.
• Maintain business continuity plans, written supervisory procedures, and operational documentation.
• Partner with senior management and cross-functional teams to improve service delivery, manage risk, and support strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in securities operations, trade support, post-trade operations, or clearing and settlements within financial services.
• Strong knowledge of Equities and Options operations, including options expiration and related clearing processes.
• Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams, ideally within a global operating environment.
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to communicate complex operational issues clearly and effectively.
• Experience with operational risk management, supervisory controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using operational metrics to improve performance.
• Proven ability to identify process improvements and implement operational efficiencies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid position based primarily in Newark, NJ, with in-office expectations on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The role also requires remote Saturday morning coverage during monthly options expiration, along with occasional late-afternoon OCC expiration oversight.
