Senior Associate, Finance & Operations (Multi-Family Office)

Job Overview LHH is supporting a rapidly scaling multi‑family office that is hiring a Senior Associate to support the day‑to‑day financial and operational needs of the platform. This is a hands‑on, high‑visibility role sitting close to senior leadership, with exposure across management company reporting, fund accounting support, client requests, and operational projects. You’ll partner with external providers while owning critical workflows internally, improving data integrity, and helping leadership make decisions with clean, timely information. Key Responsibilities Own recurring management company reporting, including monthly/quarterly close support, variance explanations, and internal reporting packs for leadership. Support fund accounting oversight in partnership with the fund administrator, including review of deliverables, reconciliations, and tie‑outs across cash, activity, and investor‑level reporting (as applicable). Manage and fulfill client and internal requests that require accurate data pulls, data organization, and responsive follow‑through (reporting, confirmations, historical activity, portfolio data). Maintain and improve client data management practices. Build and maintain Excel‑based models to support product/investment reporting, scenario analysis, and ad hoc decision support. Prepare concise, executive‑ready materials for the CEO (decks, dashboards, operating updates, and analysis summaries). Drive process improvement and automation—identify repetitive workflows, implement controls, and reduce manual work through better system usage, templates, and data structures. Handle ad hoc operational requests that cut across finance, operations, and client service, with an emphasis on speed, accuracy, and professionalism. Coordinate with third parties (fund administrator, tax/audit providers, vendors) to keep deliverables on track. Qualifications 3–5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, operations, or a related role; exposure to investment management operations is strongly preferred (funds, SMAs, family office, asset manager, fund admin, or public accounting with relevant clients). Solid understanding of accounting and reporting fundamentals; familiarity with fund structures and oversight of administrator‑produced deliverables is a plus. CPA is a nice‑to‑have (or progress toward CPA), but not required if experience is strong. Strong Excel skills (modeling, structuring datasets, building repeatable outputs); comfort translating inputs into clear reporting. Demonstrated strength with technology, automation techniques, and data management. Clear communicator with the judgment to work directly with senior leadership and respond to client‑facing requests with polish. Ability to take high ownership in a high‑growth environment where priorities shift and outcomes matter.
