Overview Provides anesthesia care in the operating room in support of surgical, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the general supervision of an anesthesiologist. Includes preoperative evaluation and postoperative follow-up. Acts as a patient advocate and liaison among patients, families and physicians. Responsibilities Join Geisinger Medical Center as an additional CRNA to support a diverse team. Practice at a Level I Trauma Center with coverage for nearly all case types, excluding heart/lung transplants and burns. Provide anesthesia services for 13 non-OR sites including GI/Pulm, Cath/EP lab, IR, OB, and MRI. Collaborate with a full range of dedicated specialists and subspecialists. Geisinger Medical Center comprises 31 operating rooms and is a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The building is connected to the Geisinger Janet Weis Children’s Hospital.
