Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Dallas, TX. This position involves providing high-risk obstetrical care within a busy labor and delivery unit. The role requires circulating in cesarean sections, caring for high acuity patients, and adhering to specific unit protocols across a 12-hour night shift schedule.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shift, minimum of 48 hours per week, from 09/22/2026 to 11/03/2026
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of high-risk labor and delivery experience; current BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications; recent experience in high risk obstetrical bedside training, circulating in cesarean sections, and recovering high acuity patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high risk obstetric bedside procedures, neonatal and fetal monitoring, and unit-specific certifications.
• Responsibilities: Manage vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C procedures, and post-delivery recovery within a high-risk obstetric environment. Maintain adherence to safety and documentation protocols, including GE fetal monitors and Meditech systems.
• Additional Information: Must be adept at working in a fast-paced, high acuity OB unit with staffing ratios of 2:1 and 3:1, and triage at 3:1. Ability to float to antepartum units as needed. Professional appearance must meet dress code standards with no artificial nails, neatly groomed hair, and covered tattoos as appropriate.
