Title examiner

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Title Reviewer (also suitable for experienced Title Examiners, Title Analysts, or Title Curative Specialists) to analyze real estate title reports, identify ownership issues, and resolve clearance requirements across Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of title examination or curative experience, a deep grasp of legal descriptions and title commitments, and a high standard for quality and accuracy.

salary: $22 - $29 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: Associate

Responsibilities

• Title Analysis & Verification: Review title reports, legal descriptions, security deeds, liens, and chain-of-title vesting to ensure document validity and conformity across MD, VA, and DC.
• Clearance & Curative Strategy: Identify precise conditions required to achieve clear title through standard sales, foreclosures, deeds-in-lieu, or tax sales, collaborating closely with title curative staff.
• Communication & Issue Resolution: Prepare formal review documentation and actively manage resolution follow-ups with vendors, attorneys, and clients.
• System Management: Maintain accurate, timely updates across both internal tracking systems and multiple third-party client portals.
