Combo Welder/FabricatorA client of 1 Resource Group is seeking an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Combo Welder/Fabricator to join their team in Harrison, OH. This position is responsible for welding, fabricating, and repairing components from drawings, blueprints, and sample parts.We are looking for a dependable self-starter with a strong work ethic, commitment to quality workmanship, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced shop environment. Overtime may be required based on workload demands. This is a day shift position.Key ResponsibilitiesWeld, fabricate, and repair components using drawings, blueprints, and sample parts.Establish and maintain positive working relationships with team members and internal/external customers.Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.Maintain organized and safe work areas while ensuring security and efficiency.Meet productivity, quality, and safety standards.Perform additional duties as assigned.Education RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Minimum QualificationsMinimum of three (3) years of welding and fabrication experience required.Must be highly proficient and able to pass AWS D1.1 and D1.5 certifications in:FCAW (3G & 4G)GMAW (1G, including spray transfer on heavy steel)SMAW (3G & 4G)Experience operating brake, shear, grinders, and fabrication equipment.Experience working in a shop environment utilizing SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW processes.Heavy fabrication and repair experience preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.Reliable with strong attendance and punctuality.Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.Certifications & LicensesAbility to successfully pass AWS D1.1 and D1.5 certifications in FCAW, GMAW, and SMAW welding processes as listed above.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNone.Physical Demands & RequirementsThe physical demands listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.
