Full Time Nanny - Lower Manhattan, NY

Full-time Nanny required for a lower Manhattan family with four young children (ages 8 and under). Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for providing loving care to the children, tidying, cleaning and children related laundry and cooking. To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 10-15 years of experience caring for multiple children, have excellent attention to detail and be a discreet, mature and professional caregiver. This is a fast-paced and demanding role with high expectations; proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and having a team oriented mindset while remaining calm and collected is essential in this role. Adhering to and helping to facilitate planned schedules, school drop offs, pick ups and participating in classes are expected. You will primarily be partnering alongside other caregivers and parents when caring for all four children, but should be comfortable with times when care for all four is required. T Location: Lower Manhattan, NYC Start date: ASAP Days/times: Work hours will generally land between 7am-7pm, Monday-Thursday. Family will guarantee 40 hours per week, though hours actually worked will be closer to 48/week. Children: Four children: ages 8 and under Conditions: $50 per hour* (paid as a W2 employee) plus unlimited monthly OMNY card, public holidays, sick/personal days and two weeks paid leave per year. Family open to offsetting health insurance with a healthcare stipend for the ideal candidate. *dependant on experience For further consideration, applicants must possess the following: Authorization to work in the US A minimum of 10 years experience as a full-time nanny working in private home with multiple children A well-suited demeanor for working with children pre-school and school aged children A schedule with flexibility for evening coverage (work events/date nights), ability to travel with family domestically, internationally (and stay overnights/late as needed). Experience with educational milestones (teaching background would be ideal) Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence. Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development Readiness to help with light housekeeping and all tasks related to childcare (cooking, organizing, laundry, etc.). Comfortable working in a partnership/alongside with other caregivers and Mother in the home, while able to handle children for periods alone, when needed.
