Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will also support staff and visitors with strong communication and customer service, while bringing our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Pay Rate: $18.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or first responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to verify that only authorized individuals enter restricted areas, following visitor management and badge-check procedures as directed by site policy.
• Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, potential hazards, and/or policy violations, and assisting with orderly traffic flow and general information requests.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
