Job Summary

Warehouse Associates are responsible for the physical handling of storage boxes, bins, and totes. This role requires frequent kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending. Employees will move, arrange, lift, and load boxes ranging from 24+ lbs both manually and using hand carts.

Work Schedule

The normal work schedule is 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Lift and carry boxes ranging from 10-100 lbs regularly, without assistance.
• Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks on uneven and concrete surfaces.
• Read and write English to process incoming and outgoing orders and track them using a proprietary computer system.
• Use a handheld scanner, climb and balance on ladders, and shrink wrap pallets.
• Load boxes onto pallets and trucks using material handling aids.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Capability to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes up and down inclines, stairs, and over various surfaces.
• Meet ASTM F2413-11 standards for protective footwear with a slip-resistant rating of "Better or Best".

Additional Information

• This position requires the worker to be a US Person to meet ITAR regulations.
• The position has the potential to transition from temporary to permanent.
• A BI Exception applies to this requisition.
