Warehouse Clerk

MSE is seeking an experienced Warehouse Clerk to join our team. You'll verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments, manage inventory throughout the warehouse, and operate a forklift to move plastic rolls and pick up product from Production and Quality holding areas daily. This role plays a key part in making sure our shipments go out accurately and on time.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
• Every other weekend is required
• Required to work the 1st of every month for inventory, regardless of day of the week or company holidays
• Regular overtime is a consistent part of this role

What You'll Do:

• Prepare and process shipping and receiving paperwork
• Determine where stock items should be placed, and ensure products from all holding areas are moved and stored properly
• Set up schedules for moving, labeling, or re-packing products as needed
• Report any discrepancies in product identification or quantity to the appropriate department
• Load and unload inventory, and safely operate a forklift in close quarters
• Match pallet and roll numbers on Inventory Pick Lists with product in the warehouse for loading onto trucks
• Inspect trailers prior to loading to confirm they're safe and suitable
• Apply loading schematics and strapping requirements so loads are balanced and safe to travel
• Participate in monthly inventory counts and collaborate with other departments on warehouse operations

Work Experience:

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma, GED, or High School Equivalence Certificate
• Minimum of 2 years of warehouse, inventory, or shipping/receiving experience
• Comfortable operating a forklift and working in close quarters
• Ability to accurately read and record weights from a weigh scale
• Ability to process shipping documents such as Sales Order Pick Lists, Packing Lists, and Bills of Material
• Ability to lift/move items over 25 lbs. regularly, up to a maximum single-person lift of 80 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and reliability, given the regular weekend and overtime demands of this role
