The Staff Registered Nurse assumes responsibility for the management and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process. May be required to float to other units and participate in on-call status. This position requires population-specific competencies and adherence to National Patient Safety Goals, appropriate to the level of patient contact. Qualifications Job Qualifications: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Oklahoma or a multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) state. Current BLS certification upon hire or within 30 days. Effective communication skills in English. Department-specific competencies will be completed during orientation. Additional certifications and requirements vary by department: Hospice: Current CPR, CHPN preferred. Radiology: Current ACLS required. Employee Health: Valid driver’s license, dependable transportation, proof of insurance. INTEGRIS Mental Health: Ability to operate INTEGRIS or personal vehicle, valid Oklahoma driver’s license, acceptable driving record. Emergency Department: PALS (within 12 months), ACLS (within 6 months). Responsibilities The Staff Registered Nurse manages patient care, including: Assessment and reassessments Development of care plan Implementation and evaluation of care interventions Supervision of licensed and non-licensed personnel Mentorship to staff and students Reports to the manager, director, or VP. Mental health staff must assist with physical restraint using Behavior Management Techniques. Additional physical or respiratory demands may apply.
