We are planning to open more Scooter's Coffee locations in DurhamEssential Duties & Responsibilities:Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relations issues, and leading the team in delivering the Scooter's "Amazing" customer service experienceMaintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs, and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rushAssist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team membersDevelop effective working relationships with team members, identifying individual motivation factors • Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team salesUnderstand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and operational procedures in an accurate, consistent mannerEnsure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelinesServe as a keyholder, following all opening and closing proceduresDemonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptabilityAssist Store Manager with administrative duties as requestedQualifications:Must be 18 years of age or olderPassion for peopleWillingness to master brand recipes and techniquesEnergetic, fast-paced, flexible work styleAbility to work cooperatively in a team environmentAbility to teach others and communicate effectivelyStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailDesire to take on a leadership role in a growing companyMust be able to walk or stand continuouslyAbility to lift up to 50 poundsDisclaimer The functions and skills described here are general in nature and represent the type of work performed, but they do not constitute an exhaustive list of the duties and responsibilities performed on the job.
