Location: Upper Deerfield, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $22-$24 per hour (based on education, experience, and qualifications)

Position Summary


We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious Logistics Coordinator to join our manufacturing team at our new Upper Deerfield, NJ facility. This role is responsible for coordinating all customer shipments, internal and external transfers, and freight activities while ensuring excellent service, accuracy, and cost efficiency. The Logistics Coordinator works closely with Customer Service, the Warehouse Supervisor, and the Factory Purchasing Manager to support smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all customer shipments and internal/external transfers
• Assist in supervising freight activities to customers and other locations
• Work closely with Customer Service to meet service timelines and customer requirements
• Prioritize logistics activities to satisfy internal and external customer needs
• Schedule and organize shipments with warehouses, including appointments and requirements
• Establish weekly shipment planning for the Warehouse team
• Record truck arrival and departure times daily
• Select reliable carriers at the most competitive cost
• Record and manage freight claims with carriers when applicable
• Record, verify, and process customer returns in collaboration with warehouse staff
• Ensure all shipping paperwork is accurately entered into SAP daily for invoicing
• Communicate shipment details clearly to the Warehouse according to procedures
• Print and prepare shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOL), pick tickets, shipping labels, and create/transmit ASNs

Qualifications

• High School diploma required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment of comparable size and complexity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders
• Working knowledge of SAP is a plus
