Hourly Pay Range: $61.48 - $95.29 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights Position: Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist Specialist Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL Full Time (40 hrs/week) Hours: Monday-Friday, Days Education & Qualifications Pharm D. from an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy (Preferred) PGY1 residency plus 1 year of pharmacy practice as appropriate for the program setting PGY1 residency plus PGY2 residency plus 6 months of pharmacy practice as appropriate for the program setting A minimum of three years of pharmacy experience as appropriate for the program setting License & Certification Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist License Certification through Board of Pharmacy Specialties (Preferred) What you will do The Clinical Specialist plays a pivotal role in optimizing patient care by collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications. As a member of our pharmacy team, provides specialized pharmaceutical services, conducts medication reviews, and contributes to the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guideline. In addition, leads and maintains a service or program related to clinical, technical or operational areas within the department or health system. Where applicable, this role may also serve as a primary preceptor for pharmacy residents and must comply with all requirements associated with the training program and accrediting bodies.
