Job Details: Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/17/2026. Required Qualifications: Associate Degree in Nursing (A.S.) or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred); one year in acute care experience; current RN license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within six months of hire or transfer; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS; AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS. Preferred Qualifications: None specified. Additional Information: Performs accurate triage assessments on all patients and communicates abnormal signs, symptoms, and vital signs to the Emergency Department physician 100% of the time. Reviews and completes patient orders efficiently and provides medication side effects education during discharge. Recognizes symptoms of cardiac or respiratory distress and appropriate emergencies, with appropriate interventions. Demonstrates competence in routine nursing skills, including medication administration, intravenous therapy, care of indwelling catheters and drains, and safe use of medical equipment used in critical care. Accurately interprets ECG rhythms and manages care during life-threatening emergencies. Maintains clear, accurate, and timely documentation of care and responses to treatments. Performs safety and quality control checks and coordinates with inpatient units for admissions. Performs other relevant duties as assigned.
