Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package included.Job DescriptionIM Medical Director OverviewThe IM Medical Director will oversee healthcare operations at a leading medical facility, ensuring exceptional patient care and operational efficiency.Lead a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, fostering collaboration and excellence in medical services.Provide comprehensive primary care to a designated panel of patients, ensuring high-quality outcomes.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations.Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in patient care delivery.Engage in organizational initiatives to enhance service quality and operational sustainability.Maintain a work-life balance with no weekend or overnight shifts.IM Medical Director Key Responsibilities & DutiesOversee the activities of a large team of healthcare practitioners, including primary care and multi-specialty physicians.Interpret and implement organizational policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.Develop and manage work schedules and assignments for the healthcare team.Assess physician performance and provide constructive feedback for professional growth.Interact with patients and external providers to ensure seamless care delivery.Identify and resolve operational and clinical issues effectively and efficiently.Participate in organization-wide initiatives to enhance healthcare services and patient satisfaction.Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system.IM Medical Director Job RequirementsDoctor of Medicine (MD) degree with active, unrestricted New York State Physician License.Board Certification in a relevant specialty and active NPI Number.DEA Certificate, BCLS Certification, and Infection Control Certificate.Completed NYS Department of Health mandated prescriber education in pain management within the past three years.Minimum of 5 years of experience, with 7 years preferred, in a healthcare leadership role.Strong communication and decision-making skills to lead and collaborate effectively.Commitment to providing high-quality care to underserved communities.Ability to work on-site and engage with the healthcare team and patients directly.
