Maintenance Assistant

About the Role:

As a CBRE Maintenance Associate, you will be responsible for maintainingsmall to medium-sized buildings and equipment.

This job is part of the Facilities Management team. They are responsiblefor providing preventive maintenance and repairs of furniture, fixtures andequipment.

What You'll Do:

• Perform tasks, such as but not limited to, changing light bulbs, repairsor replacement of restroom fixtures and locks on doors, minor decorativemaintenance, workstation assembly and other tasks not requiring a licensedskilled trades person or journeyman.

• Readily takes direction from Facility Manager and Facility Coordinator. Willinglysupports Building Maintenance Technicians upon requests.

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.

• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.

• Review assigned work orders and document status using systems to track completion.

• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.

• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems. Exchange straightforward information in a clear, concise manner.

• Impact team through defined duties, methods and tasks as described in detail.

• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

The minimum salary for the Maintenance Assistant position is $55,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Maintenance Assistant position is $82000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
