About the Position

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: CT Tech Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: ARRT Radiography required; CT preferred Certifications: Joint Commission Accredited, ACR accredited in CT Must-Have: Ability to operate CT equipment independently Advanced skills to perform routine CT exams for all types of emergency department and inpatient settings Description: This facility has 400 beds. It averages 180 CT exams per day with 3 scanners available. There are 2 techs per scanner during the day and a total of 3 techs during overnights. Types of equipment used include GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32 slice. The documentation system is Meditech. Staff members perform routine CT exams for emergency department and inpatient settings, including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA.
