Veterinary Technician

Overview Seeking an experienced licensed veterinary technician for a long-established private small animal hospital in Sacramento, CA. Will consider unlicensed if highly experienced. Compensation: $30 to $35/hr depending on license/experience. Responsibilities Assist with anesthesia induction, intubation, and monitoring Surgical preparation and post-operative support Digital x-rays and dental procedures In-house IDEXX lab and Cornerstone experience a plus Exam room assisting Blood draws on dogs and cats IV catheter placement Prescription handling Employment Type Full Time Schedule FT Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat; 8-hour shifts with overtime as needed Compensation and Benefits Salary: $52,000 - $62,500 Annual Bonus/Commission: No Paid vacation, holidays and other benefits negotiable Employment type, salary and benefits are as stated in the job listing.
