Driver / Industrial Painter
Are you someone who enjoys variety in your day and takes pride in quality work? We are looking for a Driver / Industrial Painter to join a growing manufacturing team in Troy, Ohio. This hands-on position combines local deliveries and material handling with industrial painting duties in a fast-paced production environment.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable working both on the road and in the shop.
What You'll Do
Transportation & Material Handling
- Safely load, secure, and transport materials, equipment, and finished products.
- Make local pickups and deliveries using a company pickup truck or flatbed.
- Complete vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain delivery records and required documentation.
- Follow all company safety procedures and transportation regulations.
Industrial Painting
- Prepare parts for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming surfaces.
- Apply coatings using air-pressure spray guns and airless painting equipment.
- Read work instructions and technical drawings to identify surfaces requiring protection.
- Use jigs and fixtures when applicable.
- Maintain paint equipment, booths, and work areas.
- Monitor inventory of paint and related supplies.
- Assist with assembly and production tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Required:
- Valid Ohio driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a driver physical.
- Experience loading and securing materials for transport.
- Forklift experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
- Experience using hand tools and measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Preferred:
- Industrial painting experience.
- Crane operation experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
- Familiarity with paint jigs and fixtures.
