Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients (32 weeks gestation and greater), including elective and medical inductions, stable antepartum patients, postpartum patients, and well newborns
• Circulate in OR suites for cesarean section procedures
• Perform triage assessments and manage triage patients as needed
• Titrate drips per protocol, including Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and insulin as required
• Operate and interpret electronic fetal monitoring using the GE Connect EFM system
• Adhere to AWHONN staffing standards, maintaining 1:1 ratios in Labor and Delivery and 1:6 couple care ratios in Postpartum

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Completion of S.T.A.B.L.E. program (at least once)
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
• Demonstrated experience in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and OR circulation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior triage experience in a Labor and Delivery setting
• Familiarity with GE Connect electronic fetal monitoring systems
• Experience titrating obstetric drips including Pitocin and magnesium sulfate per protocol
