Registered Nurse - Skilled Nursing

This individual is responsible for the daily clinical aspect functioning to meet all residents' needs.

Full-time position at Gorham House with compensation ranging from USD 43 to USD 47 per hour.

Responsibilities include medication supervision/administration in compliance with Federal & State regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines, admissions of new residents, completing acute and long-term care plans or service plans, clinical system tracking under the direction of the Director of Nursing, discharges, assessments, and clinical documentation, providing general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community, notifying physicians and/or family members of any change in resident's health and providing proper documentation, responding quickly to all emergencies, maintaining close communication with all departments and staff members, maintaining confidentiality of residents' and prospective residents' information, understanding role in the Safety & Disaster Plan, and providing educational meetings for residents and staff.

Qualifications include an Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school, two years related experience and/or training equivalent combination of education and applicable experience, nursing as an area of study, 1+ years of experience in a skilled, sub-acute, or memory care setting, a current Registered Nurse's License with no judgments against it, CPR certification, acceptable fluency in English to perform job duties and communicate with supervisors, coworkers, residents, and applicable third parties, and basic computer skills.
