Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Telemetry Float Pool experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Required Skills/Experience:
- 2 years experience in tele/stepdown.

Unit Details:
- Common patient population includes ETOH, DKA, heart failure, sepsis, stroke, GI surgery, GU surgery, and joint replacements.
- RNs titrate insulin, heparin, amiodarone, and cardizem drips.
- Monitor techs are available; RNs read their own strips. Uses GE monitors.
- Uses CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen equipment.
- Charge nurse/NSM does not take a patient assignment.

Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend.
- No call.

Floating Requirements:
- This is a float pool position, so travelers will float to med-surg and telemetry.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
