A busy outpatient pharmacy in the downtown Kansas City area is seeking a Pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for a professional ready to engage in a fast-paced environment adjacent to a major hospital.
Responsibilities:
- Verify and accurately fill prescriptions
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and guidelines
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Use EPIC pharmacy system for order processing and patient information management
Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing
- Experience with outpatient pharmacy operations preferred
- Proficiency in EPIC or similar pharmacy IT systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume setting
Location:
- Lees Summit, MO, near downtown Kansas City and main hospital building
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, day shifts
This contract position is scheduled for 13 weeks with the potential to transition into a permanent role. The start date is available immediately for qualified candidates.
