Pharmacy Manager

In return, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and paid time off. Responsibilities Preparing drugs and executing prescription orders for collection or delivery. Maintain records for controlled substances; removing outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory. Controls medications by monitoring drug therapies and advising interventions. Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' work flow; verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections. Ensure the pharmacy complies with federal and state regulations. Supervise the work results of technicians, cashiers, and other pharmacy employees. Responsible for leading Front-End Operations including monitoring product displays and inventory, as well as the general appearance of the pharmacy. Address customers' requests and concerns. Assist in the onboarding and training of new pharmacy employees and scheduling shifts. Responsible for opening and closing store procedures. Assists payroll process and ensures budget is in line with plan. Ensure staff provide high standards of customer service to customers by adhering to Standard Operating Procedures. Qualifications Degree in Pharmacy/Pharmacology, PharmD preferred. Current valid NJ state license Outstanding knowledge of Pharmacy Software System Communicate effectively. Demonstrable experience in a managerial capacity at a pharmacy. In-depth knowledge of the pharmacological uses and side effects of prescription drugs and controlled substances. Able to provide clear and concise instructions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-oriented approach. Strong time-management and organizational skills. Self-driven and motivated to increase efficiency and performance. Flexible to work long hours including weekends. Advanced knowledge of protocols regulating the safe storage of prescription drugs and controlled substances. Ability to proactively follow up any irregularities with scripts processed at the pharmacy. Integrity and compassion.
