Skilled Personal Attendants (Caregivers)

Always Best Care Senior Services- Lafayette Ca, and surrounding areas is hiring Skilled Personal Attendant (Caregivers) to support seniors in Alameda County, Contra Costa County, and surrounding areas.

Service Areas (Must Be Willing to Work In): Oakland, Richmond, Piedmont, Alameda County, Walnut Creek, Lafayette, Concord, Contra Costa County, and surrounding areas.

Virtual Interviews

Compensation:

• Personal Attendants: Starting at $21 per hour
• Weekend Personal Attendants (Saturday/Sunday Only): $24 per hour.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving or personal attendant experience
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and reliable personal vehicle
• Must be able to work split/stacked shifts (1–4-hour shifts combined to form full workdays).
• Must be able to travel up to 25 miles for work.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass criminal background checks
• Daytime, afternoon, and evening availability
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• HCA License

Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including but not limited to: bathing, toileting, dress assist, walk assist, grooming, eating, incontinence care, transfer assist,
• Assist with safe use and setup of assistive equipment
• Perform light housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe environment
• Medication reminders
• Support mobility, transfers, and general safety
• Encourage communication and social engagement
• Document care tasks accurately
• Build meaningful relationships while upholding professional and ethical standards
