Responsibilities

• Perform PET and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental standards.
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
• Operate Nuclear Medicine and PET imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and provide exceptional patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records in Cerner EMR.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine experience.
• Active NMTCB Certification (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board).
• Current AHA BLS Certification.
• Experience with PET Imaging procedures required.
• Experience using Cerner EMR preferred.
• Strong communication, patient care, and technical skills.

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a PET Imaging department for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience performing PET and Nuclear Medicine procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging while maintaining patient safety and adhering to departmental protocols.
