Robot OperatorThe Robot Operator runs pre-defined test scenarios on a humanoid robot, primarily by using simple controls, pushing buttons, and accurately recording results. This role focuses on careful execution of tests, clear documentation of any issues, and strict adherence to safety and cleanliness protocols in a lab environment.ResponsibilitiesOperate a humanoid robot by following pre-defined, non-technical test scenarios, including pushing buttons and interacting with simple controls.Accurately record test results and observations in the required formats and tools.Document issues, anomalies, and unexpected behaviors encountered during testing with clear and detailed notes.Communicate test findings, issues, and status updates to the engineering and testing teams in a timely manner.Follow established protocols and procedures to maintain a safe, organized, and clean lab and production environment.Execute repetitive test tasks consistently, maintaining focus and attention to detail over extended periods.Use basic computer applications for data entry, reporting, and tracking test progress.Support troubleshooting efforts by providing detailed test logs and observations to technical team members.Collaborate with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure test coverage, quality, and continuous improvement of test processes.Essential SkillsProficiency with basic computer skills and data entry.Experience executing tests in a production, lab, or similar environment.Familiarity with electronics and computer systems.Ability to perform basic testing and troubleshooting tasks.Comfort working with robotics or automated systems.Sound judgment and the ability to follow instructions and protocols accurately.Strong attentiveness to detail and consistency in repetitive tasks.Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools.Motivation and eagerness to work in the AI and robotics space.Additional Skills & QualificationsInterest in early-stage AI and robotics technologies.Experience in a production, lab, or testing environment.Ability to stay focused and productive during repetitive work.Comfort collaborating with engineers and technical staff.Strong organizational skills for managing test documentation and records.Why Work Here?Join an early-stage AI and robotics startup that is building a first-of-its-kind general-purpose humanoid robot.
