Radiology Tech – Interventional Radiology Tech; Los Angeles, California; travel assignment starting 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,524-$2,654 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Operate interventional radiology imaging equipment to perform cardiovascular radiographic exams and assist with interventional procedures in the cath lab.
- Position and prepare patients, ensure proper immobilization, and follow protocols to obtain high-quality, diagnostic images.
- Assist physicians during specialized interventional procedures, including handling imaging equipment, contrast administration, and maintaining sterile technique.
- Monitor patient status during procedures, document imaging findings, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the exam.
- Maintain equipment, perform routine quality checks, and adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and facility policies.
- Collaborate with the radiology team to optimize workflow, mentor staff on technical skills, and support assignment-related objectives.

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: ARRT certification; Radiologic Tech (RT) license in the state of practice (required). CPR/BLS certification from an approved vendor (required). Fluoroscopy (FLUORO) certification (required). PVMB/TEAM/CPI or equivalent violent behavior management training (required).
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the radiology/interventional field; current nursing license per the state of assignment (required for this role, per job notes).
- Education: Associate degree in radiologic technology or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology or related field preferred.
- Additional: Ability to work in a home healthcare – hospice setting; strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and patient communication skills.
