Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department
- Evaluate outcomes, consult with ED physicians and other specialists as required, and adjust nursing care plans to optimize patient care and throughput
- Communicate changes in patient status, symptoms, and results of diagnostic studies to ED physicians; document findings and interventions
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment; maintain situational awareness in a fast-paced ED
- Deliver care that addresses psychosocial, physical, and general needs; support effective communication with patients and families
- Collaborate with ED team to ensure patient flow, safety, and alignment with professional standards

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Illinois
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
- ENPC, TNCC, and/or TNS certifications preferred
- Ability to work the scheduled night shift (6:30 pm–7:00 am) including Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays
- Emergency Department nursing experience preferred (not required)
