Business Analyst

Ocean Bay LLC., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, has an opening for a highly motivated Business Analyst located in Arlington, VA. The successful candidate will be a results-driven and highly motivated Business Analyst with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The Business Analyst will perform a wide range of administrative, office and professional support activities. Position Responsibilities Performs analysis and related support functions relevant to strategic planning and assists with performance measurement and tracking performance related metrics. Develop reports and make recommendations to improve business processes, procedures, and performance. Assists in performing analyses and interpretation of cost and expense variances. Compiles and analyzes financial information. Develops integrated analyses, projections, reports, and presentations. Creates and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures information has been recorded accurately. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management. Performs financial forecasting and reconciliation relevant to budget and strategic planning function. Coordinates performance metrics gathering, analysis and reporting activities. Identifies and analyzes systems requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables. Actively participates in process and method changes and reviews existing policy or suggested changes for impact in implementation and application. Participates in establishing and coordinating program plan requirements and interfaces with each section/office; evaluates, monitors, and reports performance against plans to ensure guidelines meet appropriate procedures and policies. Develops and maintains spreadsheets, tracks databases, reports, and presentations; generates and documents information for statistical purposes; utilizes database systems and word processing software; compiles files on initiatives for personnel as requested. Creates briefings for senior management outlining changes or modifications on relevant laws, regulations and policies. Participates in discussions, meetings, conferences, and conference calls with agency administrative, subject matter experts, and technical personnel, and other federal agency officials. Performs other duties as assigned. Position Requirements Minimum of a bachelor’s degree. Minimum of 5 years of experience and strong analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills and the ability to solve complex problems and work in a team environment. Must have strong technical and analytical skills and experience with data management programs and PC based applications. Must be detailed oriented, flexible, and have strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume, tight deadline environment. Skills Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint management and computer software programs. Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Possess knowledge of applying analytic methodologies and principles to address program needs. Security Requirements Security Clearance Level: Public Trust Applicants selected will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements. Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance. Successful pass of Ocean Bay LLC., Background Investigation Drug Screening and Credit Check.
