Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring Certified Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in South Lyon, MI 48178 . It's a 13 weeks contract with a possible extension.

Duties:

• Assist providers with patient examinations, treatments, and other clinical procedures under appropriate supervision.
• Interview patients, measure vital signs, and accurately document information in patient charts.
• Prepare examination and treatment rooms before patient appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and perform basic clerical duties, including answering phone calls, filing, and record management.
• Document patient encounters, including diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescriptions as directed by the provider.
• Transcribe provider orders for laboratory tests, radiology procedures, and medications.
• Order, organize, and maintain clinical supplies and inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly clinical environment.
• Follow standard precautions and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Apply critical thinking and sound judgment while working in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Required:

• High school diploma or GED.
• BLS Certification is required
• Medical Assistant certification

Pay Range: $20-$25/hour
