Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Take on a meaningful contract assignment supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing within a well-established school-based program near Mesquite, TX. This opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist fluent in American Sign Language, eager to provide direct therapy services to children and adolescents in an educational setting. The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through May 28, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours weekly.

Primary Qualifications:

• Active Texas SLP license required
• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL), or DHHT certification
• Experience providing therapy to students in a school environment, particularly with DHH (Deaf/Hard of Hearing) populations, preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work within a multidisciplinary team
• Current fingerprint clearance with the TEA, or willingness to complete fingerprinting (results may take up to 7 days)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapy-focused speech-language services to a diverse group of K-12 students enrolled in the Regional Day School Program for the Deaf
• Collaborate with a team of SLPs, sharing responsibility for serving approximately 130 students
• Provide individualized intervention plans to support speech, language, and communication goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and coordinate with educators, families, and other specialists
